Fossil Continues To Lead The World With Good Watches With Good Compatibilty,They Keep The World Going

The button has fallen out of my Fossil Hybrid HR (FTW7026), on December 6 , 2024. This is the second time this has happened to me, I returned the first watch to Amazon the first time, and it was quickly replaced (December 26, 2023). Because this is the 2nd time this has happened, I believe there exists an inherent weakness in this design, and that suspicion is reinforced by the fact that Fossil seems to have discontinued the product. Further, Fossil has refused to correct this problem, and has not offered me repair or a replacement for a device that is less than a year old. Also, they totally gave me the runaround, placing responsibility upon the Amazon seller, and cheerfully wasting my time. Just a word to the consumer: Fossil does not back up their products. Fossil does not care about customer satisfaction.

It is frustrating that whenever the application encounters bugs or malfunctions, I am compelled to forcefully close it, resulting in the disconnection of my watch. This inconvenience has become increasingly bothersome, and I urge the developers to address the underlying issues within the application. Additionally, it is imperative that the developers cease allowing the app to unpair my phone when Bluetooth is clearly enabled and connected. The functionality of the app should not require its constant presence. The current situation lacks logical coherence and needs to be rectified.

After the app updated today i’ve been unable to reconnect my Hybrid HR and i’ve tried every troubleshooting option and then some and it’s dead in the water ….

The latest watch os has no option to disable the ugly white notification banner at the bottom of the watch face. This ruins any watch face design, and undermines the benefit of a custom face, which I spent a long time designing for myself. This is a HUGE FLAW and has led me to stop wearing the watch altogether. Please fix this so that the notifications banner is only visible as an option! Thanks.

I like the performance and look of the watch. Syncing it in the app is a nightmare. I have to remove and re-add the watch every time. I have contacted customer service and that’s what they make us do. So in essence the watch keeps my data for 2-3 days, after which I am bound to lose it all because I have to unpair and re-connect. Please hire a proper iOS engineer and fix the app

This watch is super comfortable. It has been telling me if I got enough sleep it is awesome. I’m definitely going to give this to my cousin!

Accurate info

I’ve had three of these watches. Love the unique analog hands w digital smartwatch capabilities. Moisture barrier could be improved upon and was the reason for failure of the other two watches. This model has a different style of buttons and I hope will offer an improvement on it’s ability to withstand moisture. Sad to hear Fossil is discontinuing these watches. Looks good and better than other smart watches

Great watch

It is unfortunate that fossil is doing away with the smart watch line. Really enjoying the watch. Using it basically for steps, oxygen level and heart rate.

Everything works fine in the app BUT the little notification logo is so annoying (if you don’t want it) it stays on the screen and takes so many button presses to dismiss every time there is a notification. You used to be able to hide this icon but now it’s always there if you have any notifications. I like having notifications on but I hate how this logo sits on the normally clean watch face. Please make an option to not have this

They are discontinuing their smart watches, so expect them to stop working in the upcoming years, oh wait, you should expect them not to work when you buy them too. App is buggy, watch is buggy, waste of money

I love this app and watch.

What Fossil seems to care about is selling more product. That’s what is front and center in this app. Scroll around and you’ll find somewhere to set an alarm, but don’t expect it to work reliably. I set one for Monday morning. It doesn’t go off. I check the app and there’s an alarm set for Saturday morning. I delete it and it won’t go away. Try again and the Saturday alarm disappears and the Monday alarm suddenly shows up. It’s bonkers. Complete and totally unreliable. Watches have had alarms for decades, but Fossil has yet to figure it out.

The full app name of “Fossil Smart Watches” looks very much out of place in the app drawer. Please please please rename to Fossil for a cleaner appearance.

I LOVE my Fossil hybrid watch and the app that goes with it! Does everything that I need.

Enjoy my fossil watch when I can get it to work. It doesn’t stay connected and charged

I like how the app is designed and the visualization for things like calories and heart rate. Unfortunately these might work once a day and then it’s broken. Sometimes syncing again fixes it, sometimes it freezes the whole app. Don’t confuse the app review with the watch though. The watch is awesome. Lastly, a dark mode would be a nice addition, but I’d rather the app be more usable first

App can’t find watch. Tried just about everything including rebooting watch and phone, nothing works. Everything else works between my iPhone 14 Plus and my watch, but not the fossil app.

What a hassle to keep this watch pair with the phone. It will work but break a day or two later.

I love my smartwatch it looks like a regular watch but has all the cool tech stuff also and no one can tell the difference. Can dress it up or down. And it does not look like everyone else’s. When you see a square on someone wrist you already know. Fossil keeps them guessing.

So easy to use, and I do not have issues with it!

Really like how easy the app is to use

I’ve never had problems with my fossil app but as of today I can’t click on past days to see my sleep data. Every day I click on it says the date is the 31 and there’s no record. Please fix!!

I bought my watch a month ago and it was working great with the old Wear OS app. Now I have a new Fossil app and updated Wear OS and my watch is not working. It is stuck on the screen that says “continue on phone”.

It gone, I cannot install it or find it… please help me with it!!!

My biggest qualm with apple/ android watch apps is they are limited to one watch this gives you More watch options for connecting so that’s a big plus against the big 2

This is one of the worst apps I’ve ever seen. It takes forever to load the information if it ever does!

Absolutely brilliant app

Super comfortable. Super easy to set up, and use, and customize thru the app. Classy look rather than a big ugly square screen. Does everything I want without all the extra crap they’ll never get used. Did I mention super comfortable.

Watch is alright but the syncing with this app is extremely undependable and makes the watch less functional. If I could sync the watch directly with Apple health/activity etc, it would be better. App widgets are a bit limited. The ads for fossil products in the “for you” section is unnecessary and clutters the user interface. I’m not buying another fossil hybrid watch because then I’m stuck with this broken app again.

App worked great years ago, each version made it worse. Now it doesn’t work at all, perfectly good watch bricked by bad software.

Hate it because the watch never stays connected. The watch always reboots and restarts. Wear OS is better but notifications need to be improved. I hate this new app

Please add support for Zulu / UTC Time as a second time zone, instead of just a city.

My watch suddenly stopped showing text message notifications from the iMessage app. There is no option in the app to toggle notifications on or off from the iMessage app. I am using the most recent version of the software.
