Fossil Smartwatches App Reviews

Great Watch

I know a lot of people dog the Q Grant because of the silly name and it not being a full fledged Smartwatch like its Apple Watch cousin, but let me tell you the watch is amazing. I understand that everyone wants a flashy watch that does all sorts of cool things like read your email, play games, and bring you a beer when you get home from work, but what the Q Grant does is simple: its a watch that tracks your steps. The watch first of all is a great looking time piece that is very contemporary and very well built as any Fossil watch generally is. The app that accompanies the watch does a great job of tracking steps and keeps a faithful record of your milestones. There are a few items that Fossil tries to pull of in the app which frankly, I havent used because they seem too much of a gimmick. The watch however is great sturdy and I would surely recommend it to anyone who is looking for a watch that acts as a pedometer that doesnt look like a 1990s MP3 player.

Amazing!

I have been using my fossil Q for just over a month and I am so impressed with the battery life! Not to mention the fact that I always get in my steps! The notifications are amazing and I love how you can customize the color it lights up and the vibration for different people!

Cool watch and app

The watch is nice and I love how it shows notifications with colors you can choose.

Not reliable

While I know this only counts steps, it doesnt sync up unless you open app manually each day to sync. Even then seems to miss large gaps in steps.

Its ok

Tracks steps well enough but thats about all. Isnt compatible with my fitness pal or many other apps as a matter of fact. I have no idea what the curious challenges are all about. Seems a waste of time.

Fossil Q

I like it, it not only tracks my steps but also alerts me to calls, text, emails. It flashes and vibrates when you get either and you can assign up to 5 callers. All 5 have different colors so you can identify the caller.

App Crash !

I cant open the App anymore it just Crash everytime!

Fossil Q

I like my new Q. It lets me know whos calling or texting by vibrating and lighting up with different colors. It was really easy to sync with my iPhone and track my steps.

Could be so much more

Fossil doesnt care to spend money on app development. Fine, youre a hardware company- you make the software just good enough to sell the hardware. But if you arent going to put resources on software dev, unlock the device so 3rd party apps can send notifications to your watches. I love my Q but find myself wearing my Martian Notifier more often than not. Much better control of notifications and much more consistent. If I get a message, I know the Martian will vibrate. No need to keep checking my phone. Maybe the Fossil battery is too small and they cant stay connected for too long?

Pretty good

The product and app is working well together on my iPhone 6s!!! I really like it the only problem every now and again I be trying figure out why I missed a call or text from one of the people in my top five... With the product on my wrist and my phone in my lap it tend to lose connection and have to reconnect it dont do it a lot but I had for week and awesome the battery is my favorite because it havent been charged since last week and the app keep track of the percentage of it Im just on 50%

Just what I need

Does what it does very well! I just want to know my steps, calories and total distance covered. It does it all very well!
